The Founder's Desk Is Open
Editorial services and resources for writers, from the studio of Hollow & Page.
I’m opening a door today.
The Founder’s Desk is the editorial studio of Hollow & Page. It’s the place where the same hands that build the imprints turn outward to serve other writers. It’s open as of today, and I wanted to tell you about it directly rather than tuck it behind a services page you might never find.
Here is what The Founder’s Desk is, and what I hope it can be for you.
What I Offer
Proofreading and copy editing. The careful pass before your manuscript, essay, or Substack goes into the world. I’ll catch what you missed, polish what’s rough, and never touch your voice.
Ghostwriting, both fiction and nonfiction. Full books, chapters, essays, Substack series, or single pieces. Literary fiction, memoir, narrative nonfiction, reflective writing, and the kind of nonfiction that has as much soul as it does substance. I write in your voice for your vision, with the kind of care that doesn’t show its seams.
Copywriting for writers. Sales pages, author bios, launch copy, Substack About pages, book descriptions, and product pages. Written with the same literary care as the work they’re selling.
Manuscript consultations (coming soon). Editorial letters analyzing structure, voice, pacing, and revision direction for writers who want clarity before the next draft.
Why This Work
Because I’ve been a writer waiting for someone to read me carefully, and I know how rare that is.
Because when I edit, I'm listening for what the writing is reaching for, not just what it's missing.
Because the writers I want to work with are the ones whose work reads like it was made on purpose. Substackers building real bodies of writing. Memoirists who carry stories that took a lifetime to find words for. Novelists writing the book they’ve always wanted to read. Essayists searching for language large enough to hold an inner life.
If that’s you, or someone you know, I would be honored to read your work.

A Note on Founding Rates
I’m pricing accessibly through 2026 as I build a portfolio of work I’m proud to show. If you have been waiting to hire an editor or ghostwriter you trust, this is a good window. Rates will rise as the studio matures.
The desk is open. The lantern is lit. If your writing has been waiting for someone to read it the way you wrote it, I am here.
